The cost of a new roof depends on several aspects. We understand that you would like an indication of what a new roof will cost, but this depends on so many different factors. It is impossible to give an indication without further information. To name a few factors:
1. Type of roofing
Of course, the type of roofing you want will greatly affect the cost of your new roof. A tile roof is in a different price range than a bitumen roof, for example. Even within the range of roof tiles, the differences in terms of price are significant. In general, a bitumen roof is often the lowest in terms of cost, but this is especially common with a shed or canopy (flat roof).
2. Type of roof
Coherent with the type of roofing, the type of roof also determines the cost of your new roof. A flat roof often needs different roofing than a pitched or sloped roof. The finish is also different and determines the cost.
3. Area of the roof
The number of m² on your roof naturally also has a major impact on the cost when you have your roof installed. Obviously, the more m² your roof covers, the higher the cost of your new roof as well.
4. Roof insulation
Does your roof also need to be (re)insulated? Then the cost of roof insulation often comes with it. Roof insulation is seen as an investment rather than a cost. The costs of insulating your roof will eventually pay for themselves in your energy bill in the long run.
5. Roof construction
The roof structure is also an important factor in determining the cost of your new roof. When replacing a roof, it’s important to know whether we can build on the existing structure, or whether it needs to be renewed as well.

When do you renew your roof?
Many people wonder what is the appropriate time to renew your roof. Or rather, how long they can put off renewing their roof. And that’s not surprising, because renewing the roof comes with a price tag that isn’t always that generous.
Do you have a roof leak, are some tiles lying crooked or do you feel the roofing is showing some wear and tear? Does that mean moisture is staying on your roof and what might be causing a leak? We’ll quickly find out during an annual roof inspection. In many cases, one of these reasons is not yet an immediate reason to have your roof replaced.
Do you often suffer from leaks, are your roof tiles outdated and in need of renewal in several places on the roof, or are you considering solar panels, but your roof will be written off in three years? Then it may be wise to renew your roof now.

Do you need a permit for a new roof?
If you are working on a new construction project, or if your roof is in need of a completely new roof, you need to apply for a permit according to the environmental law. This permit for a new roof is called an environmental permit. You can apply for this permit yourself through the environment counter online. It is useful to talk to your roofer before you perform these steps so that you have all the necessary information to enter in advance. In some cases, an architect is also called in beforehand.

1. Design phase
For a new roof, there is also a design phase. Does the rafter roof still need to be drawn? We can take this completely off the client’s hands because we also work with an architect. The drawings are worked out by the architect. We are involved in advising in choices and listen to the wishes of the customer.
2. Quote
Based on your choices and the number of square meters, we can then prepare a quote. This quote is free and will be sent to you for you to review. If you have any questions or doubts, please contact us and we will adjust the quotation if necessary.
3. Scheduling assignment
After agreeing to the quote, we’ll contact you to set up an appointment to make your roof. We take into account all schedules and the time we need to install your roof.
4. Performing assignment
At the appointed time, we will be at your doorstep to take the roof off. The roof comes off and fortunately a beautiful new roof takes its place afterwards. We work neatly and arrange all necessary permits such as street fencing or sidewalk blocking.
5. Evaluation
When the project is completed, we take time for an evaluation. We show with the help of photos how the roof was constructed. These photos are also shared with the customer. How did you experience the entire process, are you satisfied and are there any areas of improvement for us? We also always ask if you would like to share your experience for our future customers.
